Each employee, that does safety induction training with KBC, is issued with a profile and card upon which all safety training information is stored. Each employee that is to go through the training brings with them all their relevant OHS documentation and qualifications to the training centre on the day of training. This information is scanned in and linked with the student’s profile through the personalised ‘Passport’. When this employee’s information needs to be recalled at a safety check point, it can be done in one of three ways.

This profile creates a record for life for the employee, recording all safety information pertinent to the individual. Over and above this, the system als

• Actively monitors expiry dates of certificates and alerts relevant parties of their expiry (e.g. contractor and safety officer) via SMS and email.
• Allows for PTO’s to be done electronically and uploaded to the employees’ profile.
• Allows notes to be put onto the employee’s profile.
• Allows incident investigation information to be stored on the contractors’ profile.
